Designed for the liquid-cooled Triumph family. Thruxton, Thruxton R, Speed Twin 1200, Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Bonneville T100, and the Speed Twin 900/Street Twin/Street Cup. Smaller and more compact than OEM or our Dominator series. The compact cone/reverse cone design bolts directly into place on your stock headers and mounting positions. With only a 15" overall length, the exhaust will end well in front of the rear axle and chain adjuster, making routine rear wheel maintenance much easier.
Our Shorty Performer exhaust has a maximum diameter of 3.75" and features a large 2" reverse cone opening. A lot of mufflers with large outlets have a "hollow" sound, but with our unique double-step, dimpled perforated core, you get a tight, solid, exhaust tone!
Fits the original equipment Triumph headers and catalytic convertor. These mufflers should also fit aftermarket headers (or X-pipe/Cat-Delete) that are designed to reuse and guaranteed to fit the OEM mufflers.
The muffler mounting bracket attaches to the backside of the stock passenger foot peg support, using an included spacer that replaces the stock rubber rear peg insert. These mufflers can be used with either stock passenger pegs, or with foot peg block off kits. Our muffler kit includes clamps, sealant, and spacers - everything you should need to complete your installation.
In our opinion, the Shorty Performer mufflers are most attractive without a center stand in place. However, some people do wish to utilize a center stand. We now offer an OPTIONAL center stand stop that keeps the stand from damaging the exhaust and the coolant recovery container that is under the motor. This stop is not otherwise included in the kits and MUST BE REQUESTED WHEN ORDERING (no charge). Stock kickstand stops are still in place on frame and header so no changes are needed there.
If you retain the stock catalytic convertor, no retuning should be required.
We match the finish of our mufflers to the finish of the OEM headers. Standard finishes are listed below. We offer the optional Black Ceramic Coating for the T120 Black and all other models if you desire (additional $110 cost per set).
Even with the minimal size of these mufflers, you don't get an excessively loud sound when you retain the stock catalytic converter. They are slightly louder and with a little more aggressive than our Dominator Sport mufflers, when fitted to the same motorcycle. IF YOU REPLACE THE STOCK CATALYTIC CONVERTER WITH A "CAT DELETE DEVICE", THE EXHAUST WILL BE MUCH LOUDER.

The Dominator for the liquid-cooled Triumph Modern Classic is now available in both Touring and Sport models. The “Dominator Sport” features the original straight-through louver core that Cone Engineering created for the original air-cooled Triumph Modern Classics. On the liquid-cooled models with their catalytic converter and OEM exhaust headers, you get a nice deep tone with the traditional cone/reverse cone style, but smaller and lighter than the OEM muffler.
When the stock cats remain in place, no retuning should be required.
With more people replacing the stock cat with a cat delete or an “X-pipe”, we decided to now also produce a “Touring Core” model for these bikes. Everything still mounts in the original fashion and the two muffler offerings are identical externally. As with the earlier generation Modern Classics, this new era Dominator mounts to the stock headers. The muffler mounting bracket attaches in the stock rear foot peg location, as with past Dominators, but installs BEHIND the passenger foot peg mount using a provided replacement spacer.
On the new model bikes the kickstand stop is in the header and the frame so there is no additional stop needed.
All mufflers are manufactured from 18g 304 stainless steel outer bodies, balancing lighter weight and strength. The finish of the muffler is matched to the stock header finish. A black ceramic finish is a special order option for $100 per set.
Perfect for use with the stock catalytic converter, no retuning would be necessary. Not too loud, not too quiet. Muffler has the unrestricted flow-through Sport Core design.

Our newest offering is for the Triumph Bobber and Speedmaster (DOES NOT fit the air-cooled Speedmaster). Our system is a complete “bolt-in-place” installation. There is no cutting of the stock headers as is required with some other aftermarket exhausts.
It replaces the stock exhaust from the catalytic converter back, they can connect to either the stock catalytic converter or to a “cat delete” or “X” pipe replacement.
